    About Me:

It is my pleasure to be a trustee candidate representing Cambridge and North Dumfries for the Waterloo Catholic District School Board. I have served as trustee for the past 8 years and currently sit as chair of the board.

I am a retired educator with the WCDSB with 28 years experience teaching and leading as principal. When I retired I was Principal at Monsignor Doyle CSS. During those years I encountered many amazing students, supportive parents and hard working dedicated staff.

I am blessed to have the support of my family and loving husband, Paul Paquette who is also a retired educator from WCDSB. We are members of St Gregory the Great Parish and are active within our community.

I am, and always will be passionate about Catholic Education. As a retiree, I have the time to devote my skills and experience so that our students continue to receive a quality, inclusive and faith based education.

My experience as a former administrator, teacher and trustee has provided me with a good understanding of how WCDSB operates, how schools are run, what students encounter on a daily basis and how to help parents navigate the system. I am qualified to represent Cambridge and North Dumfries as trustee for the WCDSB. I ask for your vote and support on October 22nd.

    About Me:

Hello, my name is Brian Quigley and I am running for the position of Catholic School Board Trustee.

I am a life long resident of Cambridge, where I attended St. Peter Elementary School, St. Benedicts High School and Galt Collegiate.

I am an active member of St. Gregory the Great Parish along with my wife Carmen and our son, Matthew. Both Matthew and I are lectors at our Parish with Carmen being involved through the years supporting the children's liturgy.

Cambridge is an amazing community to live and raise a family in. I have been fortunate enough to benefit from such a strong community that has allowed me to expand on my Catholic education by achieving the Chartered Professional Accounting designation. This has led to a successful finance career spanning over 25 years.

I believe that none of this would have been possible without the support of the Catholic community; through both formal education and through involvement within our Parish.

This is the reason why I have chosen to run to become a Catholic school board trustee. I want to use those same skills that I have developed through the support of this community to work to support our students, teachers, ECEs, EAs and all other educational support workers, so that each student can have the same opportunities I had.

    Please vote,

    Thank you.
