After obtaining a Bachelor of Theology from Saint Paul University, Kevin worked in full-time Federal prison Chaplaincy for 15 years with the Correctional Service of Canada. Kevin also obtained law degrees from McGill University developing an interest in policy among other areas of law. He is an advocate for diversity. He is fluently bilingual and appreciates different cultures and backgrounds. His Catholic sense of a global community has helped him see the importance of helping others. Kevin coach’s basketball. He also volunteers with his wife at Holy Redeemer in various ministries and is active on the executive council for the Knights of Columbus. She has proven leadership, communication, managerial, financial and public accountability acumen. Participation in community networks and committees such as United Way Ottawa, the Child and Youth Mental Health Network of Ottawa, and the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Steering Committee of Ottawa, have given Cindy an informed glimpse into the challenges faced by many children and youth in the Ottawa area.
