Robert is a graduate of Notre Dame-Loretto high schools in Guelph and afterwards the University of Toronto in Mechanical Engineering (1964). His early career was in the aerospace industry as an engineering …analyst. He moved to the power industry as a design engineer and worked on power station design, including both fossil-fired and nuclear. Several times he was project engineer on complex, multi-million dollar projects.In 1999 he took early retirement to apply his experience in objective analysis to social and political issues.In 2008 he published the book Human Rights, What Are They Really? and in 2020, Governance for a New Era. The first book shows that every person in the world has certain fundamental rights, whether a man or a woman. Rights, not social design, are paramount with Robert.
