Julie MOLENAARÀ propos de moi :
I made the decision to run as a trustee to hopefully make a difference for our community. I feel some improvements need to be made and I’m hoping I can help. I have been on a committee with the Wilmot …Township for over 4 years and I feel that I can do more.
My top 3 goals,
1. Concentration on education, leave politics out-and resources for kids should come first for our kids.
My plan is to have extra help for the children who need it by having students volunteer some time after school and lunch hours.
2. Mental Illness
Schools need to promote positive mental health. Alcohol and drugs affect our mental health this needs to be taught as well as no drugs, drinking and driving. Teachers and parents need to communicate, work as a team. Watch for changes in a child’s behaviour and grades. This can be a sign of suicidal thoughts.
Promoting active living (health and physical education classes, sports teams and intramural activities)
• Teaching children and youth about healthy eating
• Providing healthy eating options
• Teaching coping skills, such as self-awareness and stress management
• Promoting positive self-esteem
• Creating an open environment for talking about their problems and questions
• Providing spaces for relaxation, such as a lounge and quiet corners within classrooms
• Displaying relevant materials for children, youth and families
• Implementing and actively supporting policies for safe and accepting schools, including bullying prevention and intervention policies
3. Diversity and inclusion - Through communication and resources
In schools we need to teach children respect for others. It’s quite simple - Treat Others The Way You Want To Be Treated! Respect peoples religion, values and morals and accept that we different. No Bullying should ever be accepted in our schools. Plus -

Linda CUFFÉlu(e)À propos de moi :
As a working mom, I saw first-hand the negative impact that school closures had on our children and their teachers. I believe in our Catholic education system and I know that, even with all these challenges, …our students and teachers can have a learning environment where they can thrive.
If elected, my top priorities are:
- Addressing learning loss and mental health with enhanced supports for our students, focused on minimizing disruptions to their education
- Advocating for a robust Catholic system that embraces and celebrates our unique heritage.
- Building trust with our communities so that our WCDSB families feel they are heard.
- Focusing on a holistic education Plus -
