David Kittner is a proud father of two with over 20 years experience working with children, youth and educators. Founder of Youth Fitness Guy, he conducts professional development sessions for elementary and secondary teachers on daily physical activity and physical literacy throughout many School Boards. David is a presenter at the OFSAA Coaching Symposium and Women’s Sport School. He also presents internationally at coaching and physical education conferences, including The New York Rangers, USA Hockey, the Youth Fitness Summit and the Ontario Physical Literacy Summit. Locally, David is the founder of Peterborough’s Community FUN at ONE. He is also the co-author of the international bestselling book: The Definitive Guide to Youth Athletic Strength, Conditioning and Performance, a contributor to Ontario Minor Hockey Association’s Hometown Hockey Magazine and was recently named the International Youth Conditioning Association’s 2014 Coach of the Year. As a Youth Mental Health Advocate, David is certified in safeTALK, ASIST and Mental Health First Aid.
