I'm a life-long resident of Burlington, and I've long known the importance education has in the lives of all Halton citizens. I'm currently studying Business Management at Ryerson University, majoring in Entrepreneurship. Education is something I've long been involved in, and I hope to continue that as a Trustee for the HCDSB. (Refer to Website for Additional Information)

I have lived in Burlington for the past 20 years. I am a social media co-ordinator for Pegasus School Images and do administrative work for the De Nederlandse COURANT, a Dutch language Canadian published newspaper. As a member of CPIC I have helped organize the Halton Catholic Parent Conferences and the Parent Webinars. I believe that our faith gives us the cornerstone for how we are to live our life and I believe in the value of Catholic Education. (Refer to website to additional information).

I am an active Catholic and this is the foundation of my life. I work as a Civil Engineer on multi-million dollar construction projects, and I am a health and fitness coach as well. I am strong in my faith, financials and with people; leading and educating those around me through example and excellent communication. These are skills I will bring to the HCDSB as a Trustee for Halton Hills, with passion, integrity and transparency.

Giuseppe Peritore is a lifelong Oakville resident, a product of the Halton Catholic District School Board and has children currently attend St. Matthew's and Mother Teresa schools. His eldest is looking forward to joining his cousins at St. Ignatius of Loyola next year. Giuseppe has vested interests in ensuring Catholic schools remain distinct with Catholic values. Giuseppe believes: 1) Catholic education is a gift that deserves to be protected, 2) Our children need to be empowered with the knowledge to understand and defend our Catholic faith, 3) Teachers need to be supported with the proper tools and training, 4) Parents of school-aged children best understand the needs in our schools, 5) Schools need to be safe, welcoming learning environments for all children, 6) Effective communication between parents, teachers and your school board is an expectation, 7) In Trustees who are accessible & respond to your needs, 8) In a School Board that is open, transparent and accountable.
