I am a father to two great children, Ben and Kira and husband to Mari. I serve on the Greenstone Fire Department as a Captain and Training officer since 1996. Since 1996 I have also served Longlac and …Greenstone as a paramedic with Longlac Ambulance and Superior North EMS. I have proudly represented Greenstone on the Superior Greenstone District School Board as Trustee since 2003. As trustee I have served as Chair, Vice-Chair and have provincially represented our board at the Ontario Public School Boards Association as a Director. I believe that all children in our system deserve the best education possible and will continue to lobby for additional resources for our board at the provincial level. More

Allison Pelletier is a young woman who has a passion for education in Northern Ontario. She is currently in her third year of University at Lakehead in Thunder Bay, where she is studying Political Science …(Pre-Law). Her interest for public education came about when she served as a Student Trustee for her last two years of high school. There she saw first hand the teamwork that is needed to deliver education to students and ever since has wanted to return. Allison enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, keeping up with news around the world and travelling when she gets the chance. She believes that all students deserve a top quality education no matter where they are located geographically. She understands the complexity of being a student in the North and wants to bring positive change to Superior-Greenstone. More
