Kathy Burtnik is the Chair of the Niagara Catholic District School Board and has served as Chair for the last 6 years. She began serving in the role of trustee 20 years ago, as a young parent, and she …continues in the role today as a grandparent. A lifetime resident of St. Catharines, Kathy and her husband Mike have raised five children, all of whom attended Niagara Catholic schools. Kathy’s strong commitment to serving the needs of students and addressing the aspirations of parents and communities have all contributed to her demonstrated effectiveness as a Catholic trustee and Chair of the Niagara Catholic District School Board.
